The Rotary Club of Maraval continues to support other Clubs in the Rotary family through attendance at their events and meetings. As such under this year's theme by RI President Mark Maloney, we have begun the " Rotary Maraval Connect to the World" series which will highlight our members as they attend other Club events and fellowship in fine style.

This week we feature the following two stories:

Rotary T&T "Final Fling' Fellowship

With 33 representatives strong, the Rotary Club of Maraval was one of the largest contingents in this year's Final Fling Fellowship hosted in Valencia Eco Resort on Emancipation Day, Thursday 1st August. With fun, food and fellowship, all had a tremendously great time catching up with friends in the other Rotary Clubs and meeting new ones. We enjoyed various local foods celebrating our Trinbagonian culture as we enjoyed mango chow, garlic pork , bbq chicken, geera pork and our own chef's fantastic culinary skills which produced breadfruit oil down , mixed meat pelau and cole slaw.

We were all pleasantly surprised by Rtn Shirley Campbell's coconut and Guinness ice cream! What a treat! We all look forward to the next one as the planning committee aim to improve with each event.

Rotarian Aileen visit to Ndola, Zambia
Rotarian Aileen shared with us her visit to the Ndola Rotary Club on Thursday 8th August in Zambia.

Rtn Aileen flew the Rotary Club of Maraval flag high as she presented President Robert with our Rotary banner.

We take this time to wish Rtn Aileen all the best on her trip!
