The month of August saw Rotary Club of Maraval continue its service to the community through the donation of 10 hampers gifted to us by the Rotary Club of Princes Town and added to by our Rotaractors. We also hosted our first ever virtual District Governor visit with DG Lisle Chase and Assistant Governor Vindra Amar.
We have formalized the way in which we engage with guests and prospective members by forming our FORM (Friends of Rotary Maraval) Whastapp chat with the logo created by PR Chair Nicole
Our Rotaractors continue their good work by donating over a 150 bags of rice to Rainbow Rescue, Servol Life Centre and St Andrews' Home to name a few.
We supported our President Giselle as she formed part of Rotary District 7020's "Journey to Rotary" Symposium and shared her transition story from Rotaract to Rotary and was also featured in the Sunday Express, Her Magazine: In Her Words article.,+
We also joined with our District in its special events meeting which showcased Rotary Public Image Coordinator, Michael Caruso, who shared on the ways in which we can "Present like a Pro" especially on the online platform. The tips and insight received were quite invaluable.
