This is what the JAZZ UNDER THE STARS experience promises as a signature piece d’ resistance on the calendar of Jazz events in Trinidad and Tobago! 

 

Now onto its 8^th year, the Jazz Under the Stars (JUTS) fundraiser, created by the Rotary Club of Maraval and delivered this year in partnership with the Rotary Club of POS, serves as the main fundraiser for this charitable organization to serve our communities by creating unique learning possibilities for our youth and above all providing the Rotary ideal of “Service Above Self” to all in need.

 

JUTS will be held on Saturday 4^th May at the Green Meadows in Santa Cruz for the price of $375.

 

Last year, we were honoured to have been offered a performance  by regional Jazz artiste, Arturo Tappin of Barbados, and due to great demand by our patrons, we will indeed, feature an exclusive command encore by the complete Arturo Tappin Band! Additionally, we will present a fantastic return of the Chutney Jazz experience performed by Rikki Jai who is celebrating 30 years in the entertainment industry this year with special guest, Nishard M and others.  We welcome for the first time, 2014 Digicel Rising Star, Neisha Julia Guy and under the auspices of the French Embassy and Alliance Francais, we will introduce the top Guadeloupean trio of JSJ to our Trinidad audience.  Their iconic jazz performances are renown in the European world of Jazz and so we know our audience will be in for a treat this year!
